Newsletter: November 20, 2011

Hi, everyone:

We have exciting news to announce: CHADD Edmonton has become AAGE (ADHD Association of Greater Edmonton). Same heart, same services; different name, new directions. AAGE will be official as of January 1, 2012 – a great way to bring in the new year! The email address will remain as it is until then but we are in the process of getting a new address and you will be informed of it in our next e-newsletter.
Our website is relatively new and you can now access back copies of our e-newsletters and links to other websites at the following address:    adhdassociationofgreateredmonton.wordpress.com

Education

See the attached article about Families’ Perspectives on Treatment by Dr. David Rabiner of Duke University. He makes an important point about receiving comprehensive rather than piecemeal treatment and how hard it is to obtain that. You can find further articles at: www.helpforadd.com/educatorrequest.htm.
Your Input
You can provide input as to the kinds of services you feel are beneficial and whether you can partner with us to provide them. Just email us and make some suggestions. If we feel we can reasonably provide that service we will work on it and if you volunteer to help out that’s even better! We could use more hands on deck.
