Foothills Academy: Spring 2014 Sessions for Educators

Foothills Academy offers some great educational opportunities for teachers, teaching assistants, parents who are homeschooling, and those interested in learning more about aspects of learning disabilities. They are offering two courses this spring.

1. PD E-course: Learning Disabilities and Related Disorders

Want to learn how to increase your capacity to create an inclusive learning environment? At Foothills Academy, we have been educating students with learning disabilities and associated disorders for 35 years. We have developed this eight section online course that draws upon experts in each of the topic areas. You can access readings, learn from expert panels, view videos of actual classroom footage and join group discussions with other educators to bring each section to life. Within each section, our goal is to increase awareness of warning signs related to each disorder and provide a toolbox of successful strategies to support complex learners. Each section takes less than 2 hours to complete. Take one section or the whole series!

Spring Session: April 12 – June 7, 2014
Fee: $25 per section or full series for $150
